Hitting the Books

It's that time again, when summer adventure seekers become weekend warriors. Flipflops lay forgotten by trampolines and yellow, number two pencils are on every shopping list in America. I am excited to say our classroom is already hitting the books and in kindergarten that means learning to read. It is a big task but these kiddos are so excited to learn how to sound out words. We are spending time on letter names and sounds this month.
