Meet Mrs. Toney

 

First and foremost, I am a county girl! I graduated from HCHS in (gasp!) 1994. I am an Air Force veteran. I received  my master's degree in Elementary Education from the University of Southern California.  My husband and I have six boys between us that take my breath away every day. One is attending creekside this year, two are at the middle school and the oldest three are at HCHS. We have a dog named lily. I am a life long reader! A favorite book would be too hard to choose. I adored teaching second graders for seven years at Park and I am more than proud to teach Kindergarten this year! I love watching my boys play soccer, football and wrestle on the county rec team, run (yes, by choice), hike, canoe on the flint river, go to concerts and travel. I can officially say that I cannot wait until deer season to hunt with my boys again.  This is my tenth year at Park Elementary and can't see myself anywhere else. I absolutely love our school because of the wonderful family of educators, parents and students that make up our community and prove every day that Park is the place to be!
