Done!

We made it. The first full week of school is over and now we can settle into a routine. We have learned so much about how our classroom works that I am exhausted just by thinking about it. I am shocked to find my heart stolen once again. I am not at all opposed to being smitten by these kids. I just didn't expect to love them immediately... but then I have watched them grow up daily. I 've been at all of their PTA performances and watched them walk in the halls since PreK. I have taught brothers, sisters and cousins of the kids in my class so I guess I was just waiting to call these kids mine all along. mine. for. awhile.
